I agree im fascinated too, ive lived here all my life and ive never heard these rumours. Very interesting though, think im going to have to look the history up a little more xx

I moved to Reading 6 years ago from South Africa, and have been to the Manor hous ein Prospect park, actually a restaurant now. I have heard that this place is haunted as well as the Park. Would be interesting to find out more.

All the libraries in reading, in and out of the town centre, includ woodley, wokingham etc, will have books on the ghosts of reading and such. Worth popping down and renting them, although, give the twyford library a miss...........mate lost their copy of the book last year

Just bumping this topic as we haven't had any responses for a while on witchcraft in and around Reading.

Does anyone know anything about the rumours of it?

I am still no wiser in the history of witchcraft in Reading. There have been a few investigations that we have done where I where I have become aware of witches.

I must go down to the Woodley library and check it out soon x
