Orbs
Right this thread could get interesting; orbs are the most talked about thing in a paranormal investigation report, or through members..
Right the science bit...
These are known as back scatter or near camera reflection
These are found mainly in compact cameras, both digital and film – though less were seen in film due to the costs of processing so less film pictures were produced. When the actual ratio between film and digital is equal incidence of orbs.
The scientific people believe that it’s down to refraction, take out your digital camera, look where you flash is. Now imagine a triangle of light coming out the camera, and where it meets with the image taken through the lenses.
Now this narrow angle causes the effect of orbs, due to the closeness of the flash.
The orbs are the light bouncing off pollen, dust, insects, moister or a combo of all of those can create them. Underwater the same effects are seen in photography, which shows it’s more a camera thing.
Diffusers can be used to reduce level but one of the best ways is to have external upward pointing flash, to reduce the level almost to zero of these reflection ones. Now I’m testing this theory to see if that is true, if something else happens then.. Also the use of strobe lighting will also remove entirely the occurrence of orbs..
