I think there is a 'Blue Moon' due in December 2009. I may be wrong but I am sure there is one due 2nd dec and end of dec.

Basically, we get 12 full lunar cycles a year and a blue moon is just an additional 'full moon' cycle. So Dec this year, we are due our 12th and 13th full moon.

Just wondering, does this mean anything to the wiccan world? Is this celebrated or is it just an extra full moon?

yes there is 2 full moons in dec this year, the 2nd and the 31st, new years eve,

a blue moon is the time for very strong powerful magick, so at work or not i will be casting a circle and have a list of spell to do, i cannot miss this night it's too important,

i am not sure if Wiccans do celebrate this time, it would be nice if someone could tell us,
