As practitioners in the occult anyway as witches, is demonology just another page we should be turning to? Another chapter in the book? Another feather in our bow?
Having looked at demonologist Fred Batt's website, there wasn't much there I didn't already know about, apart from the fact that he talks about using the demons to conjure white magick for the right reasons.
I've dealt with my own demons quite successfully so far, although the buggers do pop back now and then. But, now I have a greater understanding, they're no harder to deal with than any other negative energy I have to deal with on a daily basis.
Am I just being brave? Stupid? Naive?
I'm sure most people will be running screaming from this subject, but for me it's fascinating.

Good question Neale.
I don't think I believe in demons in the sense portrayed in films etc. but then, I don't believe in Angels as in the christian version either.
I do believe there has to be dark if you have light, evil with good, that's a balance, making up a whole.
I know there are malevolent energies and entities out there, just waiting for a chance to get at you, however, because they can manage to play mind games with you, by playing on your fears, I still wouldn't call them demons.
No matter what you, as an individual prefer to call them, they all still need to be treated with a healthy respect and caution, they can do a lot of damage as some know to their cost.
Admiting that there is 'something' around that is capable of hurting you, doesn't make you foolish, trying to deal with it in a rational manner, when you are scared /terrified, shows great strength of character, so yes, I would agree, that makes one brave.
I believe one could only be considered naive, if you think you can play with these entities/spirits and try and manipulate them, because you can't.

Just had something on my mind I thought I would share to see what your feelings are.
If any religion is based on faith alone and not proven evidence of existence does that make God, heaven, the devil, hell, allah, etc not real and only instilled in us by society to instill a fear of being sent to hell if we are bad?
If these dont exist who do we pray to for protection against demons, if demons are real. If they are then surelly there should be angels, but angels not in the bible context but angels that precede christ and the start of christianity.
